He is the South African born Canadian and bought up in a normal family as a normal kid, it is not awesome to grow extraordinary from a comfort place. It is said awesome when someone grows from ordinary to extraordinary. He is the best example for this. He sleeps at early morning 1.00 am and wake up at 7.00 am. He said that he starts his every day with a fresh shower to make the day productive, you know one thing he just took 5 mins to finish his lunch that too in meeting time. He gives his 7 days in a week for Space X, Tesla and for SolarCity. He goes to gym 2 Days in a week to keep him fit because he believes that health is important for a great achievement.
He never gives up anything, he was attending an interview during the time when the Space X project fails in its third attempt and asked by the interviewer "why you are still stuck on this project why don't you stop this " he replied that " No I never give up". This was the thing that impressed me the most, not only me many of us.
He is born to win, his hard work combined smart work will never let him fail. He never takes anyone as his competitor, he always just focus on his own work, up to me I think this is one of the main thing for his achievement.
If you want to succeed in something give your 100 %, never compet with anyone, if you compet it will not allow to bring out all your potential. Try to bring the best version of yourself, because no one can think like you, no one can discover the solution in your way, Just be like you and give your best.
As Elon said, Just do if you think it is important even the probable outcome is a failure. Don't work for money, Do work, give your best and concentrate on it only, then money will automatically flow to you.
And finally, I would like to quote one of his thought,
